How the programme works
What does it involve?
The INPP Method involves carrying out physical movements every day based on the natural movements made during the first year(s) of life.
The exercises help to integrate reflexes, improve balance, posture, co-ordination and control of the eye movements which support a child’s general development and progress in school.
Following a detailed assessment your child will be given an individual programme of exercises to carry out at home under parental supervision.
The programme takes 5-10 minutes a day over the course of approximately 18 months. Progress is reviewed at 6 to 8 weekly intervals and the exercises adapted according to progress. Key elements of the programme are regularity, repetition and duration.
How I Work :
My therapy process is based on the internationally recognised INPP method. It involves assessing retained reflexes and providing a structured, home-based movement programme that supports your child’s development over time. Each step is designed to be supportive, manageable, and tailored to your child’s individual needs.
Screening Questionnaire
Complete the INPP screening questionnaire and return it to me for advice. The screening questionnaire will allow me to decide if your child is a likely candidate to avail of this programme. There is no charge for this service.
Initial Consultation Call (Free-30 Minutes)
Upon completion of your questionnaire we will arrange a phone consultation to discuss your child’s presenting problems, developmental history and the suitability of the program.
Diagnostic Assessment
This is a detailed, one-to-one session (usually 1.5–2 hours) where I assess your child’s posture, coordination, balance, reflexes, and sensory-motor skills. We also take a comprehensive developmental history. You’ll receive:
* A detailed written report of findings
* Personalised reflex profile
* Bespoke movement therapy programme
* Guidance on how to support your child at home
Individualised Home Programme
Based on the assessment, I’ll design a simple, daily programme of movement-based exercises (5–10 minutes per day). These movements help integrate retained reflexes over time. What makes it effective:
* Rooted in developmental neurology
* Designed to mimic natural motor milestones
* Easy to do at home, with no special equipment
* Updated regularly as your child progresses
Reviews
We’ll meet approximately every 6–8 weeks to assess progress, answer questions, and adjust the programme. This ensures your child continues to develop at the right pace and keeps things on track. Each review includes:
* Re-testing of reflexes and postural stability
* Updated programme (if needed)
* Support with implementing the movements at home
* Emotional and practical support for parents
Additional Services (Optional):
* School Reports & Collaboration: I can provide written summaries for schools or liaise with teachers (with your permission).
* Workshops for Parents or Educators: On understanding primitive reflexes and early development
Who This Is For:
